Jamie Phillips

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, former professional athlete, and rehab specialist who’s spent over 15 years immersed in the world of elite sports. I played Division 1 NCAA hockey at Michigan Tech before being drafted to the NHL and competing professionally for four years. That experience, balancing the demands of high-performance sport with academic rigor, laid the foundation for my approach to coaching and rehabilitation. I’ve since earned a Master’s in Kinesiology & Exercise Physiology, a Doctorate degree, and now serve as the Owner and Director of Rehab and Performance for Ghost.

The turning point in my career came when I realized how many hockey players—especially goalies—were losing opportunities not because of a lack of talent, but because they didn’t understand proper training, recovery, or how to physically prepare their bodies for the demands of the sport. After years of seeing teammates and young athletes suffer preventable injuries or plateau due to poor off-ice habits, I knew I had to do something different. I didn’t just want to coach—I wanted to educate and empower. That frustration became fuel. It drove me back to school for my Master’s in Kinesiology and eventually a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My mission became clear: to build athletes who are not only skilled but resilient—prepared to perform, prepared to last.
