Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach
Ryan is currently a student-athlete at Grand Valley State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Performance. He brings experience from playing at some of the top youth programs, including Pittsburgh Penguins Elite and Mount Saint Charles, as well as playing junior hockey at the Junior A and Tier 2 levels. His perspective on competing at an elite level, combined with his status as a standout student, will help current student-athletes understand what it takes.
His turning point was going through the junior hockey system. Seeing the inside of the made him want to help create athletes who understand what it takes every single day to reach their goals.
Witnessing many falter once they arrived because they did not understand the mentality required. This passion led him not only to attend school but also to help cultivate an environment that enables atheletes to excel at their sport.
Help athletes not only become stronger physically but also understand what it takes to succeed every day and at the next level.
